Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join a drug and alcohol team in Erith, Bexley. You will manage a caseload of substance misuse clients, run group sessions and triage assessments, with a 3-month full‑time contract and regular late shifts.

Working Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with the potential extension. DBS/training provided, and a dedicated consultant support line.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions for substance misuse clients.
• Carry out triage assessments.
• Work flexible duty shifts including a late shift every two weeks (11:30–19:30).
• Manage a caseload and maintain client records.

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with experienced Recovery Workers, for positions working within a drug and alcohol team in Erith in Bexley.

The position will require you working with a caseload of substance misuse/alcohol clients, you will be required to facilitate group sessions and duty shifts, also create triage assessments.

The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for 3 months initially, with potential extension after this. Within this post you will need to carry out 1 late shift every 2 weeks of 11:30 to 19:30.

Days: Monday - Friday

Contract: 3 Months (+ongoing)

Salary: £20 to £23 per hour
