This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity.

Job Overview

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. Our team in Liskeard is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high‑quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide partnership working, care coordination and intervention delivery to clients.
  • Manage an active caseload, responding quickly and maintaining respectful, dignified service.
  • Support clients in setting goals, drafting treatment plans and progressing recovery.
  • Collaborate with the adult community team and in‑house services such as outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and residential rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.
  • Attend team meetings, training and development sessions.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Have attained or be willing to achieve ONC/NVQ level 3 within 12 months.
  • Have demonstrable experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related specialist settings.
  • Have a track record of working with people experiencing substance misuse issues.
  • Possess a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Organised, time‑management skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritise workload.
  • IT competent and flexible working hours (including occasional Saturdays).
  • Willingness to support other WithYou locations when needed.
Qualifications
