Job Opportunity: Recovery Worker - Durham (Full-Time, Temporary Contract)

Location: Durham, County Durham

Contract Type: Locum / Temporary (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm)

Duration: 3 months initially, with potential for extension

Pay: £19Ltd

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users, developing and reviewing recovery plans
  • Conduct triage and comprehensive assessments
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver shared interventions
  • Facilitate access to treatment and community resources
  • Lead case management including risk and safeguarding assessments
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and attend reviews and meetings
  • Support families and reduce the impact of substance misuse on family life
  • Deliver psychosocial interventions in both group and one-to-one formats
Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
