Job description
Overview

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Recovery Team Leader to join our dedicated team in Sheffield. Working closely with our Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our St Bart's Service. As a visible and proactive Recovery Team Leader, you will help to create a supportive and empowering environment for staff and our service users alike. The successful candidate will have experience in working with people with multiple complex needs, including autism; learning disabilities and diagnosed mental health conditions. You will have a broad understanding of mental health pathways and psychological interventions. Above all, we are looking for an empathic, person-centred and understanding individual to support and help lead team.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating continual professional development through an intensive training program.
  • Lead and participate in team meetings.
  • Carry out duties as may be required to further aims of Target Housing within Health and Safety requirements.
  • Adhere to Target Housing's policies and procedures, in particular Equal Opportunities, Confidentiality and Health and Safety policies.
  • Carry out other duties as directed by senior managers as appropriate to the aims of Target Housing.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field (mental health, psychology, health and social care).
  • Level 3 - 5 in management and/or coaching, or be willing to undertake.
  • An individual who embraces challenges enthusiastically.
  • Understanding of the principles of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Practice.
  • At least 3 years' experience of supporting people with multiple complex needs, particularly with mental health and learning disabilities.
  • Experience of writing reports.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
