Job summary

Creative Support in Atherton, Greater Manchester, is hiring Recovery Support Workers for our Supported Accommodation services. The role involves visiting service users at home or in other settings to provide practical and emotional support, helping them live as independently as possible according to support plans.

Training is provided, with QCF Diploma opportunities. Applicants should have experience in Care/Mental Health preferred; UK-based eligibility is required, with no visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• Experience in Care and Mental Health sector preferred.
• Full training provided and opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Located in and eligible to work within the UK; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Visit service users in their own home or other settings and offer practical and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and work towards individual support plans.
• Engage with service users and build trusting relationships with their networks.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Recovery Support Workers to become part of our Supported Accommodation services in Atherton. Our staff play a vital role in ensuring that positive mental health and housing related support is delivered to all of our service users in a personalised way. We want people who will engage with those we care for, and build trusting relationships with them and their wider support networks.

We will provide full training and support and also offer either weekly or monthly pay depending on preference.

As a Recovery Support Worker, your role may include visiting service users in their own home or within other settings and offering them practical and emotional support. We encourage our service users to live as independently as possible, and work towards this in accordance with their individual support plans.

Experience of working in the Care and Mental Health sector is preferred, however if you share our drive, passion and values for helping those with mental health needs, then do not hesitate to apply. You will receive full training, excellent peer support and a work environment that wants to see you succeed.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
