DOUBLE IMPACT SERVICES in Lincolnshire is seeking a Peer Mentor and Volunteer Coordinator to lead and grow our Peer Mentor and Volunteer Programme within the Recovery Team. This permanent, full-time role supports people with lived experience and promotes volunteering as a core part of recovery.

You will recruit, train, supervise and develop Peer Mentors and Recovery Support Volunteers, collaborate with staff and external partners, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of recovery principles and person-centred practice.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or managing volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with people with lived experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain records.
  • Confidence using IT systems and databases.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Peer Mentor and Volunteer Programme within the Recovery Team.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and develop Peer Mentors and Recovery Support Volunteers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, people accessing services and external partners to promote recovery and community engagement.
