Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Motivator to join the North Lancashire team on a fixed-term basis. The role focuses on community engagement, peer support, signposting and promoting recovery opportunities across St Annes, Fleetwood and Lancaster.

The post requires lived experience of substance misuse, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple locations. The role offers a part-time 22.5 hours per week schedule and a 6-month fixed term contract with pro rata salary

• Promote recovery-focused activities and act as a positive ambassador for the service.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection requirements.

Are you passionate about recovery and want to use your lived experience to help others make positive changes in their lives? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recovery Motivator to join our North Lancashire team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with lived experience of substance misuse who is committed to helping individuals, families and communities access support and achieve their recovery goals.

Where : North Lancashire Service - Based across St Annes, Fleetwood and Lancaster (1 day per week at each base)

Working Hours : 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract of 6 Months

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

The Recovery Motivator role is designed to bring lived experience, hope and inspiration to people affected by drug and alcohol misuse. You will be a welcoming and consistent presence within our services and local communities, helping people access support, build confidence and develop positive recovery pathways. Based on the content of the Job Decription, the role focuses on community engagement, peer support, signposting and promoting recovery opportunities.
