Job summary

We have an exciting opening for a Substance Misuse Recovery Hub Non-Medical Prescriber to join our Recovery Hub team in the West Midlands Region.

As a Registered Professional you will be an integral part of the Recovery Hub team by bringing advanced clinical skills, leadership, knowledge and passion for care. The team will provide advanced clinical service virtually and face-to-face to HMP Oakwood, HMP Brinsford and HMP Featherstone.

This position is full time, Mon‑Fri. Salary up to £54,332 per annum – DEO.

Main duties
  • Provide individualised packages of care identified through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.
  • Communicate and collaborate with general practice teams across sites.
  • Support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide nurse education and leadership as required.
  • Demonstrate all four pillars of advanced clinical practice.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with current NMC registration.
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification and nurse prescribing.
  • Experience of working with opiate-dpendant patients.
  • Experience working autonomously post registration as a Non-Medical Prescriber.

Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment is desirable.
