Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Part-time Peer Support Worker (Band 3) for a 12-month fixed term. The role is 15 hours per week, pro rata salary £25,760–£27,476, and requires lived experience of mental health and the criminal justice system.

You will work under supervision within the Mental Health Treatment Requirement service to inspire hope, share recovery strategies, and support service users on their treatment goals and pathways.

Qualifications

• GCSE English at A-C grade or 9-4 grade or equivalent.
• Willingness to enrol on Peer Support Worker accredited course.
• Mental Health or Health and Social Care related qualification.
• Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) awareness or similar self-management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Model hope, recovery and self-belief in work with offenders and families.
• Share coping, self-help and self-management techniques with offenders and carers.
• Support offenders to meet treatment goals and access the community.
• Facilitate good communication between services and liaise with universal services.
• Develop peer support opportunities among offenders currently open to the service.
• Involve and develop the PSW role and participate in training and evaluations.
