Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a nurse to lead and support junior staff in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care. You will coordinate MDT activity, monitor medicines, and ensure safety, dignity, and holistic support for patients.

You will also develop care plans with patients and carers, undertake risk assessments, provide education, and contribute to audits and research to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Leadership and support of junior staff in delivering quality nursing care
• Involvement in risk assessment and risk management
• Collaboration with MDT and partner organisations to coordinate patient-centred care

Responsibilities

• Lead and support junior staff to deliver recovery-focused nursing care
• Coordinate and evaluate collaborative patient-centred care with the MDT
• Administer and monitor medications and observe for side-effects
• Develop and document care plans with service users and carers
• Lead on risk management and safety planning
• Deliver education, audits, and research to improve care governance
