The AA is seeking a dedicated HGV Recovery Driver to assist members in breakdown situations, delivering calm, confident service as you recover vehicles and get customers back on the road.
You will work a rolling shift pattern and be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to grow through training and development while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

On Target Earnings: £41,000 for a CE licence, and £35,000 for a C licence
Shifts: Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.
Standard Shift Duration: 9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45-minute break.
Flexibility Required: While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end‑of‑shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.
Depot Postcode: LE19 4SA
To be eligible for this role you must live within 25 miles or 1 hours travel from the depot.
As an HGV Recovery Driver, you’ll often work independently, but the moment you step out of your truck, you become a source of calm and confidence.
