Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored case management for service users in prison, on probation, or on community treatment orders.
  • Deliver assessments, recovery planning, and interventions.
  • Work closely with probation, prison staff, courts, and treatment providers.
  • Support reintegration into the community and smooth transitions from custody.
  • Undertake safeguarding, risk assessments, and case recording.
  • Facilitate structured group and one-to-one psychosocial interventions.

Overview

Job Title: Recovery Coordinator
Location: Derbyshire
Contract: Temporary
Recruiter: Service Care Solutions (on behalf of a leading charity)

Pay: Up to £23 per hour (umbrella) - 30 hours per week

PAYE (including holiday): £20.33 per hour
PAYE (excluding holiday): £18.14 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored case management for service users in prison, on probation, or on community treatment orders.
  • Deliver assessments, recovery planning, and interventions.
  • Work closely with probation, prison staff, courts, and treatment providers.
  • Support reintegration into the community and smooth transitions from custody to local services.
  • Undertake safeguarding, risk assessments, and case recording.
  • Facilitate structured group and one-to-one psychosocial interventions.
About You
  • Experience supporting individuals in criminal justice or related services.
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse, recovery pathways, and harm reduction.
  • Excellent partnership working skills with external agencies.
  • Confident managing a busy caseload.
