A community mental health charity in Swindon seeks a Tutor to deliver health and wellbeing courses in the Recovery College. The role requires strong communication skills and experience in training and user involvement. Lived experience of mental health issues is essential. About the ServiceAs part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW), Second Step delivers community mental health support in collaboration with Alabar, Missing Link and Nilaari. Together, were transforming mental health services by focusing on trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally inclusive approaches.The BSW Recovery College Tutor aims to deliver a range of health, wellbeing, and recovery courses within the Second Step Recovery College and assist management to develop and implement the wider organization education strategy.
About YouAs a Tutor, youll work closely with the team in the Recovery College to deliver a list of specified courses to time and standard across BANES, Swindon, and Wiltshire. Youll support people in these sessions to learn about the specific topic and help to apply this to their own lives. Youll collaborate with health professionals, VCSE partners, and other support networks to provide seamless experience.
