Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure in Woolpit is seeking a Records CAD Technician to maintain up-to-date drawings and records using GIS and CAD tools. The role supports engineering operations, ensuring accurate design information and compliant records across projects.

The ideal candidate has GCSEs, strong attention to detail, and good IT skills, with desirable GIS or AutoCAD experience. Hybrid working is available for eligible roles, with a clear path to develop in a growing utility group.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), numeracy and IT skill.
• Attention to detail is essential for accurate records and quality.

Responsibilities

• To produce detailed drawings for issue to Contractors, Developers, Auditors, and internal staff using the company GIS and CAD software.
• To process and interpret drawings received from Contractors, Developers and Engineers to ensure up to date and accurate drawing records.
• To work efficiently to ensure you are meeting company service level agreements.
• To maintain a high level of quality.
• Ensure drawings meet company regulations and industry standards.
• Any other duties as required by the Network Records Manager.
