Job Description

We are hiring a BI Engagement Lead for Record to Report process area. The Engagement lead will work closely with global process owners, business process owners, change experience teams and data and analytics teams to challenge, harmonise, standardise and where needed adapt or deliver reporting requirements across S4 and associated analytics systems.

What are we looking for

• Experience of reporting in General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and consolidated reporting using SAP ECC / S4 data in SAP and Microsoft Azure ecosystem of tools and technologies.
• Experience of finance reporting on SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics for Cloud with functional understanding of various data models in SAP.
• Appreciation of differences in various ERP solutions for finance reporting and approaches to integrate data using appropriate data architecture principles and guidelines.
• Experience in advocating processes and mechanisms for interim and parallel reporting in global rollout of a template solution.
• Previous product ownership / product management role in record to report functional domain with analytics focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and change agent mindset.
• The role would require individuals to closely collaborate with various functions while maintaining focus on delivery, deployment and adoption of reporting in the markets.
• Experience in balancing and delivering needs from global template and local needs.
• Experience of working in a matrix environment.

What will be your key responsibilities

• You will drive consistency and standardisation in reporting by engaging with process owners to catalogue reporting requirements.
• You will challenge, harmonise and standardise reporting requirements within a functional domain across segment and division for process performance management.
• You will participate in and contribute to guiding process owners of standard reporting.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the data architecture of the data model is fit for purpose for reporting needs and aligned to the strategic requirements.
• You will create engagement content in close collaboration with change experience teams and business engagement team leads.
• You will collaborate with IT teams to design and implement solutions, conduct detailed analysis and provide recommendations for process and system improvements.
• You will present business requirements to stakeholders and perform gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• You will educate business users with self‑service aspects to consume reports and make user‑specific changes.
• You will work closely with third‑party System Integrator partners to deliver quality, scalable and robust enterprise solutions within time and budget.
