We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Fellows from January to October 2027 in the Male Reconstruction Team. This post offers an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to work within a busy, tertiary Urology service at UCLH, gaining broad clinical exposure across theatres, clinics, and inpatient care under the supervision of Consultant Urologists Daniela Andrich and Professor Anthony Mundy. The post-holder will work closely within a multidisciplinary team spanning medical, nursing, and administrative colleagues to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and effective care throughout their pathway. Alongside strong clinical duties, the post-holder expected to be actively engaged in contributing to 18-week RTT compliance and theatre list utilisation.
The Clinical Fellow will hold primary responsibility for the day-to-day care of patients admitted to the service, working closely with Consultants across ward rounds, clinics, and theatre sessions. The role offers hands‑on exposure to the full patient pathway, from new referrals through to ongoing follow‑up, alongside opportunities to develop operative skills under consultant supervision. Given the trauma‑heavy nature of urology admissions, strong multi-disciplinary teamworking and communication skills are essential, including regular engagement with MDT meetings. The successful candidate will also contribute to audit, research, and teaching, making this a well‑rounded post for someone looking to build clinical, academic, and leadership experience in equal measure. We're looking for a proactive, patient‑focused doctor who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to continuous learning and collaborative care.
