Job description

The post holder will provide comprehensive and high quality receptionist/telephonist service.

The post holder will work in a challenging environment that undergoes constant changes and will need to exercise judgement and use a combination of skills to deal with day-to-day issues.

The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a sensitive and caring attitude that is client-focused and maintain a calm and organised approach when working under pressure.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Main duties of the job

Deal with enquiries in person and over the telephone appropriately, efficiently, courteously, promptly and discreetly, recognising the different needs of individuals.

To deal with security for both the secure unit and Bryn Y Neuadd site. Monitoring of CCTV. Working with the estates team. Handing out of staff keys and alarms, as well as keys for the site.
