Job Summary Havelock Grange Practice is looking for a full-time, part-time Receptionist/Practice Assistant to join their friendly multi-disciplinary team.

Benefits Training & development supported. Six weeks pro-rata holidays. NHS Pension Scheme available.

Main Duties The successful candidate will be part of a supportive Receptionist/Practice Assistant team who provide the first point of contact for patients and all enquiries into the Practice. Experience of a General Practice setting is preferred but not essential, as all training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

We are a supportive training and teaching Practice, we host and mentor GP Registrars, Foundation Doctors and Medical Students.

Requirements
  • Essential Qualification:
    • GCSE grade in English and Maths.
    • Good Standard of General Education.
    • Practical experience of working with others.
    • Experience of using own initiative.
    • Experience of customer service.
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • NVQ in Customer Service.
    • Experience of working within a General Practice environment.
    • Practical experience of computerised systems.
