Job summary

Edgerton Dental Clinic in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm, with pay around £12.71+ per hour depending on experience.

• Experience in Admin/Customer Service or Reception role preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
• Welcome patients arriving at the practice.
• Ensure the appointment system is efficient and accurate.
• Collect and record patient payments.
• Admin and finance duties.
• Ensure patient records are completed and securely stored.
• Complete NHS and private forms within specified timescales.
• Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts.
• Liaise with laboratories, suppliers and other organisations as required.
• Send out patient recalls and compile day sheets.
• Keep reception area and waiting room clean and tidy.
• Organise stock supplies and control.
• Attend training for emergencies and CPR.
