Position Summary

A vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 12‑month Fixed‑term contract/secondment opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the smooth running of the busy department, combining reception, clerical and computer work.
  • Provide an efficient, reliable administrative service to medical/secretarial staff within the Care Group.
  • Accept and manage patient information, ensuring correct and timely input onto the Patient Administration System (PAS), observing real‑time data entry rules.
  • Support a high‑quality reception and support service within the Outpatients Department, communicating well with patients, relatives, the public and multi‑professional staff.
  • Use the electronic patient system (PAS) and other relevant administrative skills, and contribute to a very busy, committed and hard‑working team.
  • Support the delivery of a safe and compassionate healthcare service, acting as a role model and demonstrating NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values.
Essential Qualifications

Experience in reception, clerical or administrative roles within a healthcare setting; knowledge of PAS or similar patient administration systems is desirable.
