A healthcare practice in Chorley is looking for a Receptionist to join their team across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will assist patients in accessing services, provide general assistance to the practice team, and project a positive image to visitors, either in person or over the phone. Basic I.T knowledge and experience in primary care are advantageous but not required. Work hours are 35.25 per week, focusing on patient interactions and support to healthcare professionals.

35.25 Hours based at Buckshaw Village Surgery
Monday - 08:00 - 18:30
Tuesday - 08:00 - 18:30
Wednesday -13:15 to 18:30
Thursday - off
Friday - 08:00 - 18:30
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate serviceor healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

We comprise of surgeries with our own Primary Care Network Status; Buckshaw Village Surgery, Eaves Lane Surgery, Adlington Medical Centre, Croston Medical Centre and The Village Surgery at Lostock Hall. Our total patient list size is combined at 23,500 and is growing rapidly. We work closely with neighbouring practices as part of a collaborative group to develop innovative primary care service to patient population in excess of 30,000.
We currently employ a total of 85 members of staff; we take pride in working together to deliver the best care for our patients.
The practice is constantly evolving to take advantage of the opportunities arising in the ever-changing NHS, and to find new and better ways of working.
