Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as an Receptionist & HR Administrator? Look no further! IRS Recruitment is thrilled to present an incredible opportunity for you to join our esteemed client in the vibrant Wallsend area.

This role kicks off on a contract basis, but for the right candidate, it could blossom into something permanent. As the first point of contact for our client's company, you'll be at the forefront of making lasting impressions. With your stellar communication skills and knack for multitasking, you'll ensure seamless operations.

Position Details
  • Hourly Rate: £12 - £13 per hour (experience-dependent)
  • Working Hours: Full‑time, Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00 & Friday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with an unpaid lunch break)
Duties (not limited to)
  • Ensure emails are answered and responded to straight away to achieve seamless communication.
  • Demonstrate professional reception hosting duties; as Receptionist Host you will manage in‑house hospitality, welcome all clients into the building, help with set up of Board Room/Conference Room, direct clients/customers to the right department, ensuring drinks/refreshments are regularly offered. This part is likely to be more as and when required.
  • Be the first point of contact to visitors and help them with any queries, ensuring timely and effective answering of telephone calls, screening and directing calls appropriately, and maintaining visitor files and filing systems.
  • Prepare reference checks, leaver letters and all associated documents required in the employment cycle.
  • Input new starters onto HR system and ensure that all personnel files and electronic personnel information is kept up to date and complete.
  • Assist with HR projects as and when required.
