A primary care practice in Wales is seeking a dedicated care navigator/receptionist to join their team. Candidates should have a GCSE in English and Maths, along with experience working in primary care and with the EMIS system. Responsibilities include managing patient enquiries, handling prescriptions, and maintaining medical records. The role offers flexible hours, and candidates should exhibit professionalism and flexibility in supporting the team. This position is full-time or part-time based on availability.
De Winton Field Practice is a training practice with a current list size of 9,500 patients. The Practice has four GP partners and four salaried GPs. We have a GP Registrar / medical students working in the practice. We provide high quality primary care services in a modernised Health Centre.
We are a friendly multi disciplinary team, which includes GPs, pharmacy technician, Practice nurses, HCAs and admin team.
The practice currently has a vacancy for a care navigator /receptionist. The number of hours to be worked has some flexibility. Candidates will need to be available to work a set rota from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm as part of their contracted hours and this is not negotiable. The practice can offer full-time or part-time hours to the right candidate.
Annual leave and Bank Holidays will be pro rata to the hours worked. The practice currently offers 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays whole time equivalent (WTE).
De Winton Field Practice is a training practice with a current list size of 9300 patients. Current staff includes 4 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs , cluster pharmacist, a pharmacy technician , an established nursing team, onsite physio service and mental health nurse. We aim to provide high quality primary care services and are located in a refurbished Health Centre. The practice is located approximately 40 minutes from Cardiff and has good transport links.
