A hospital trust in Bath seeks a friendly individual for a clerical role in the Children's Outpatient team. You will greet patients and handle telephone inquiries, while assisting with appointment bookings and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have clerical and reception experience, strong communication skills, and a qualification at GCSE level or equivalent. If you have excellent, proven clerical and communication skills, and a friendly, polite and helpful manner then there is an opportunity for you to join our Children's Outpatient team. We are looking for people to join our team who have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives and staff in our busy and rewarding department.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a similar role. You will be flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure. You are a team‑player and enjoy working as part of a team. You will work closely with our reception team and other colleagues within the department.

In this role, you will make a difference as the first point of contact for our patients and relatives at reception. You will be the first friendly face they see and will greet them in a friendly and courteous manner. You will answer all telephone and e‑mail enquiries, taking and relaying messages in a polite and helpful manner and taking action to resolve as appropriate. You will also:
