An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Receptionist/Administration and Data Input Officer within EPUT, based at The Harland Centre, Westcliff-On-Sea. The role will require the successful applicant to predominantly be based at The Harland Centre and then cover across various sites throughout our region in a reception capacity. Additionally, covering administrative services based within our Rochford Hub.
The Harland Centre helps older adults with mental health problems, including dementia. They support people living in the community by offering assessments, treatment, and ongoing care to improve their well-being and quality of life.
This position involves a two-pronged approach to responsibilities;
The underlying responsibility of this role is accurate and timely data entry to maintain and update our frailty register, ensuring compliance.
Alongside this, you will provide on site reception support, including front of house duties and administrative assistance for our wider services. This ensures smooth day to day operations and an excellent experience for service users.
You will also be required to handle queries from multi-disciplinary clinical staff, service users, and managers in a polite and efficient manner. This includes receiving and managing telephone enquiries, responding appropriately to callers, and offering support to high risk and vulnerable clients and their carers.
This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance structured data tasks with dynamic service support.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
