Join our £49 million Emergency Assessment Centre at Wexham Park Hospital!

Receptionist/Admin Support - Emergency Department

Bringing together a brand new state of the art Emergency Department, a large Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit with an impressive 30 treatment spaces, an exciting multi-speciality Acute Assessment Unit and Acute Medical and Surgical Short Stay Units.

The position will require you to work shifts on a rolling rota basis – we operate a 7 day a week service; 24 hours/day (this includes nights). If you are looking for a change and are able to work a range of shift patterns, then this may be the job for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • To record patient attendances, transfers, and discharges electronically; ensuring all data collection is accurate and collected in a confidential and professional manner.
  • To provide a highly professional front of house service – this includes Reception, Ambulance Admissions and Patient Flow.
  • As an integral member of the unit to provide support to the Managers and to provide a wide range of duties, always ensuring an efficient service to the department.
