Job Description

Our client is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will help support all aspects of student learning and achievements across the school. The post‑holder will provide high level administrative support to the Executive Assistant and leaders across the academy. They will be involved with the implementation of administration procedures and will have responsibility for specific tasks and projects. They should also provide a high standard of cover service for lessons and form time to staff and students at the Academy.

Key Duties
  • Be consistent in the delivery of all the Academy's policies and practices
  • Be a role model for students through personal presentation and professional conduct
  • Perform particular duties in accordance with directions by the Principal to ensure student safety
  • Maintain confidentiality inside and outside the Academy
  • Model the entrepreneurial traits of having a determination to succeed and a positive attitude to your work
  • Work in accordance with current Health & Safety requirements; Governing Body, DfE and government guideline
  • Manage and produce the daily absence cover for school staff, liaising with supply agencies as required and authorising timesheets
  • Receive and initiate calls promptly and efficiently, identifying the caller's requirements, transferring calls as appropriate
  • Project the Academy's image by being courteous, efficient and helpful at all times
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks as requested
  • Support students with general enquiries
  • Monitor and distribute/reply to the academies office@ email address
  • Monitor, update and produce monthly reports for Free School Meals, liaising with restaurant to arrange meals for students on Free School Meals on trips
  • Monitor and support parent/carers with MCAS
  • Supporting with academy trips, arranging transport etc. where required in liaison with teaching staff
  • Supporting with academy events
