Job description

An opportunity has arisen for experienced reception staff to work within the clinical area of the Emergency Department, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. You will be based predominately within the clinical area but be required to work between there and the reception area as demand requires.

We are looking for a self‑motivated person with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the team. You will have a good educational background with at least two years office experience, accurate keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The post will require the successful candidate to undertake a range of administrative duties including the use of specialist systems, dealing with patients and relatives enquiries, and updating the department’s information system.

This post is 18 hours per week averaged over a 3‑week rolling rota.

The hours worked are from 10:00‑16:00 and 16:00‑22:00.
