Receptionist

The closing date is 16 October 2025

The postholder will be responsible for providing a high-quality reception and administration service at SNH to support inpatient services based at Bamburgh Clinic and Alnwood. We currently operate a 24-hour, 7 days a week service, however this will be reviewed in six months time.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will ensure that patients, staff and visitors are welcomed into the units by competent operation of access which contributes to a safe and secure environment in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. The postholder will be required to liaise with all staff disciplines, patients and visitors within the service including external organisations in the course of the reception function.

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
  • OCR Level 3 Word-processing/typing qualification or OCR Level 3 in Business Administration. Educated to GCSE Standard/O- Level - including English and maths. Or equivalent experience.
