Description
Receptionist – Part time. West London - Hammersmith. We have an opportunity for a personable and experienced receptionist to work in a stunning office building in central Hammersmith, close to tube links, shops and restaurants. You will enjoy delivering an exemplary tenant service and visitor experience, working collaboratively with the security team. You will be highly organised, supporting the building manager with contractors and maintenance teams on site. You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and relish the challenge of taking ownership of the busy reception.
Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm Thursdays and Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Reception: Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ expectations
- Reception: Deliver an exceptional meet and greet service, ensuring a warm, friendly and professional welcome
- Reception: Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
- Reception: Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post
- Reception: General administration as required
- Building management: Work closely with the Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and help manage to resolution
- Building management: Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress log
- Building management: Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders
- Tenant experience: Research and deliver some seasonal events or activities to help create a community vibe in the building
- Tenant experience: Produce a monthly communication e-newsletter to tenants to promote events and encourage uptake and participation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience of working in a similar customer service role/commercial property environment
- Vibrant personality and a can-do attitude to own this high-end reception area
- Highly organised and able to perform in a busy environment
- Proficient at delivering a high-end ‘meet and greet’ service, working efficiently and professionally at all times
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packages
