Job summary

De Vere Latimer Estate is hiring a Receptionist to warmly greet guests and deliver excellent service at all times. You will be the friendly face at check-in, ensuring guests feel welcome and well cared for during their stay.

The role requires flexible shifts (early, late, and mid) including weekends in a 24/7 operation, with a competitive hourly rate and a wide range of employee benefits such as meals on duty and leisure facilities access.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry or similar role.
• Effective communication and ability to build relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Punctual, well presented and professional.
• Proficiency with IT software; Opera experience is advantageous but training is provided if needed.

As a Receptionist, you'll be the friendly face that greets our guests, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Your mission will be to provide exceptional customer service, handling guest requests efficiently and going above and beyond to ensure their stay is memorable.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in working hours, including early shifts (6:30am-3:00pm), late shifts (2:30pm-11.00pm), and middle shifts (10am-6:30pm), which will include weekends on a rota basis.

What we look for in a Receptionist:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional guest service.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests
• Punctuality and good personal presentation
• Proficiency in using IT software and familiarity with Opera would be advantageous (although not essential as training will be provided if needed).
