A prominent healthcare provider in Birmingham is looking for a part-time receptionist to join their team. Responsibilities include managing patient enquiries and supporting administrative activities. Ideal candidates will have NVQ level 2 in Customer Care and experience with patient information systems. This role offers flexibility within practice opening hours, contributing to a supportive team environment.
This is an opportunity for a receptionist to work at a forward thinking GP Practice. It is a substantive post part time, as part of a small hardworking team. You will be working at Summerfield Group Practice Health Centre in West Birmingham.
There will be a requirement to learn the patient administration systems and ordering system to work effectively within a 'low' paper environment. There may be some requirement to phone and speak to patients and also to deal with patients and their family or assistants.
The days and hours worked will be negotiable to an extent but within the Practices opening times.
Some degree of flexibility would be desired for cover during holiday times.
You will be working in Summerfield Group Practice located in Summerfield Primary Care Centre.
