About us

Ash Hill Primary School is in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The youngest children at our school are 3 years old (Nursery class), and the oldest are eleven (Year 6). There are approximately 210 children at Ash Hill altogether. The Nursery is housed in the on-site Children's Centre. The centre provides a range of services and activities for families in the area. Ash Hill is a happy school, and everyone works together to ensure that the children are safe and well looked after, and that they all receive an education which enables them to meet their full potential.

A strong sense of purpose: We’re proud to be the first school in Buckinghamshire to achieve the Bronze Attachment Aware and Trauma Informed Award, reflecting our unwavering commitment to inclusion and emotional wellbeing.

A leadership team with a clear, ambitious vision and the drive to deliver it

A collaborative team culture: You’ll join a warm, supportive staff team who believe in lifting each other up. We plan, problem-solve and celebrate together.

Workload-friendly practice: A light-touch marking policy that prioritises feedback over paperwork. High-quality, well-sequenced curriculum resources to reduce planning burden and maximise impact.

Investing in you: We provide bespoke CPD through a coaching approach that empowers teachers as professionals. You’ll be supported to grow and innovate, not just to comply.

Innovative and research-informed: As a fast-paced, forward-thinking school, we actively engage with the latest evidence-based practice to improve teaching, learning and wellbeing.

If you are ready to be part of something exciting and to shape the future for our youngest learners, we would love to meet you.
