Job summary

Provide Education- South Yorkshire in Doncaster is seeking an experienced EYFS teacher to lead a Reception class one day per week from September 2026, with a potential extension beyond Christmas. You will deliver creative, child-centered lessons, assess progress, and work closely with the EYFS team to support early years development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
• Recent EYFS experience, ideally in Reception.

Contract: Part-Time – Every Monday (1 Day per Week)
Duration: September until Christmas, with the potential to be extended

The Role

• Teach a Reception class every Monday.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with the EYFS team and wider school staff.

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
• Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences for young children.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
