THE EMPLOYER IS: MCNAGHTEN LIMITEDThe Personal Trainer & Gym Receptionist plays a dual role in supporting both the fitness and customer service functions of the gym. The role involves delivering high-quality personal training sessions, supporting members in achieving their fitness goals, and providing a friendly, professional front-of-house service to ensure an excellent member experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, effective, and engaging one-to-one and small group training sessions.
  • Design and implement tailored fitness programmes to meet member goals.
  • Provide ongoing motivation, feedback, and support to clients.
  • Educate members on correct exercise techniques and safe equipment use.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle habits and basic nutrition awareness.
  • Assist with maintaining gym equipment, cleanliness, and safety checks.
  • Support with gym events, classes, and community initiatives.
  • Greet members and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle membership enquiries, registrations, renewals, and payments.
  • Manage class bookings, personal training schedules, and facility reservations.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person queries professionally.
  • Provide information on gym services, timetables, and promotions.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.
