Experience managing appointment diaries, patient queries, and complex scheduling

As the face of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and effective day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for leading the reception team, managing workflows, and maintaining high standards across all front-of-house activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, supervising, and developing the reception team
Organising the reception rota, arranging cover, and managing annual leave
Monitoring and managing staff sickness, ensuring accurate processes and reporting
Completing all HR-related checks and duties, including maintaining up-to-date training and mandatory learning records
Montly payroll
Overseeing all daily reception operations and ensuring a smooth patient journey
Managing appointment diaries across a busy GP practice
Ensuring timely and effective handling of patient enquiries
Collating staff working hours and payroll-related information for submission to the payroll team
Monitoring QOF-related administrative tasks and ensuring the reception team remain compliant and up to date
Overseeing stock management, including stationery checks and placing orders
Collaborating closely with the wider clinical and management team to support effective service delivery
