Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ASD.
• Strong Makaton skills and using Makaton in educational settings.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• DBS disclosure and safeguarding policy compliance (Enhanced).
• CV covers last 10 years of employment history with explanations for gaps.
• UK legal right to work is required.
• Willingness to attend registration interview.

Responsibilities

• Support a Reception ASD pupil to access learning and participate in class activities.
• Help develop positive relationships and support social interaction in the classroom.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor progress and well-being.
