Job summary

Places Leisure is recruiting a Reception and Sales Placemaker to join our friendly team on Saturdays (13:00–17:30). You will deliver outstanding customer service, greet members and guests, and promote memberships to help meet sales targets. The role offers training and opportunities for progression within Places Leisure.

Ideal candidates are proactive, personable, and able to multi-task in a busy leisure environment, with a passion for welcoming customers and representing our brand values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales and customer service is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay organised in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for new and existing members.
• Promote memberships and personal programs to meet sales targets.
• Maintain a positive first impression and assist with enquiries at reception.
• Support weekend operations and assist team with daily tasks as needed.

More About The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Reception and Sales colleague, (internally known as a Placemaker) at Places Leisure, where you will be working in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people. You will help to inspire others to work together and deliver their very best. You will be highly organised and thrive on delivering excellent customer service whilst promoting a helpful and welcoming environment that offers a positive first impression to all prospective and existing members.

Hours are;

Every Saturday- 13.00-17.30

Previous experience in a sales and customer service environment would be beneficial, however, if you are a naturally proactive and self-motivated individual, then with our continuous learning and development opportunities, we would be happy to support you with the training and tools to succeed in this role and beyond.

In the Placemaker role, we will offer ongoing training and development opportunities, including Customer Service and Sales learning through our training partners, regular webinars and seminars to develop sales performance as well as opportunities to develop cross skills in lifeguarding, swimming teaching & more.
