Job description

About Collectors

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team. Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder. Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and France.

Operations Associate

We’re looking for an Operations Associate to join our Receiving team in London. As one of the first operational touchpoints for customer submissions, you will play an important role in ensuring collectibles are received, handled, verified, and entered into our systems accurately and securely. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy, security, quality, and productivity are critical. You will follow established standard operating procedures while helping identify issues and opportunities to continuously improve how we work. You will report to the Operations Supervisor and work onsite at our London Receiving Center.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive, open, sort, and process incoming customer submissions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Handle customer-owned collectibles carefully and securely, maintaining appropriate chain of custody throughout the Receiving process.
  • Match physical submissions against order and submission information, accurately counting and verifying items.
  • Verify service levels and other required submission information and identify discrepancies before orders move to the next stage.
  • Accurately enter submission and item information into internal systems and generate required labels or documentation.
  • Identify and raise missing items, damaged packages, submission discrepancies, system issues, or other process abnormalities.
  • Support the resolution of problem orders in partnership with your Supervisor and relevant internal teams.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, security requirements, and quality controls consistently.
  • Meet established expectations for productivity, accuracy, quality, and turnaround time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation and contribute to an efficient overall workflow.
  • Work flexibly across Receiving activities based on daily volumes and operational priorities.
  • Participate in training, daily team activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Share observations and improvement ideas that can help make our processes safer, simpler, more accurate, or more efficient.
Who You Are

You have strong attention to detail and take pride in completing work accurately. You are reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment. You understand the importance of handling customer property with care, integrity, and accountability. You are comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while maintaining consistent quality. You can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities. You communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team. You are comfortable raising questions or escalating when something does not look right rather than making assumptions. You are willing to learn new processes, systems, and product categories. You are comfortable using computers and learning operational software; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace is beneficial. Previous experience in operations, logistics, receiving, fulfillment, warehousing, production, quality control, or another process-driven environment is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of or enthusiasm for collectibles, including trading cards, sports cards, Pokémon, MTG, or other collectible categories, is a plus but not required.

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary for this position is £23,471.94 - £31,756.16. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
