Job summary

Bet365 is seeking a Frontend Software Developer to shape live sports experiences with sharp, scalable code. You will join the In-Play team, working on our flagship Sports product to introduce innovative features and real-time data enhancements.

The role offers opportunities to deliver low-latency, highly available UI solutions in a high-traffic platform. You will collaborate in an agile environment, contribute to frontend best practices, and work toward delivering a superior customer experience

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience building and maintaining user interfaces for complex, high-traffic products.
• Ability to design front end solutions that support low-latency and highly available services.
• Experience working with high volumes of transactions or real-time data.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Golang, C#, .Net, Java, C++ or C.
• Experience working with Scrum or other agile software delivery methods.
• Understanding of CI systems, continuous build processes and developer tooling.
• Ability to assess technical trade-offs and contribute to practical solution design.
• Working knowledge of AI and how it can support software development.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features across the existing site.
• Maintain and improve clean, maintainable code.
• Identify technical improvements that strengthen performance and quality.
• Support Software Product Owners with technical input and delivery context.
• Enhance the existing code base to support ongoing product development.
• Support the testing team during project testing phases.
• Contribute to solution proposals and delivery decisions.
• Create accurate work effort estimates for planned changes.
