Job summary

MBDA is offering a one-year placement in Stevenage focused on modelling modern weapon systems. You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, Fortran, and C/C++ to build and validate dynamic models for real-time applications.

The role requires an undergraduate in engineering or related fields, with security clearance and the potential for a graduate role after the placement. The position is based onsite with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate studying towards a degree in an Engineering discipline or Mathematics, Physics, Computing or Natural Science.
• Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
• Restrictions relating to nationality and rights to work may apply; BPSS checks after offer.

Responsibilities

• Model, develop and validate dynamic system performance models and real-time models across MBDA products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subsystem models and design data.
• Apply agile working practices and contribute to the software simulation environment.
