Job summary

Energy Trading Firm in London is seeking a C# Software Engineer to join a high-performance team building data-intensive platforms for real-time market data. You will contribute to distributed, event-driven systems and scale applications to process large volumes of data in a cloud-first environment.

Hybrid role with three days in the office, collaborating with engineers, architects and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions and maintain excellent performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C#/.NET and Angular.
• Experience designing event-driven distributed systems.
• Proven ability to process real-time or high-volume data.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes or similar technologies.
• Strong engineering practices, testing and modern development approaches.
• Excellent communication with engineers, architects and stakeholders.
