Role Overview

KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager – with experience in the real estate sector and experienced in the development and integration of legal technology to enhance service delivery. KPMG is planning to launch a global real estate portfolio management solution during 2026. The candidate will work closely with the KPMG Law UK Real Estate team to undertake the initial design and testing of the solution before launching across the broader network.

The KPMG Law UK real estate team started in December 2013 and is now 9 strong including 3 Partners with further growth plans during 2025/2026 already acting on repeat investment, development and asset management mandates for private equity funds, sovereign wealth clients and listed property funds.

KPMG already has established real estate capabilities across multiple countries and the candidate will be required to liaise with senior lawyers in those countries as the solution scope is broadened. The candidate will also assist with the project management of the roll‑out and the implementation of specific client solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing technological products/solutions to deliver a great legal service to clients in a more efficient way;
  • Building relationships with other KPMG teams and KPMG clients to assist developing and providing multi‑disciplinary solutions;
  • Project managing and driving projects to conclusion;
  • Presenting/pitching technology solutions to clients (existing and prospective).
Qualifications and Experience
  • An entrepreneurial self‑starter who is excited by the opportunity to provide multi‑disciplinary legal services in a different environment and manner while developing technological products/solutions to deliver a great service to clients in a more efficient way;
  • Able to understand the legal solution within the wider picture and who is keen to become a more rounded business adviser;
  • A driven and proactive team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines and is keen to assist with the development of junior team members;
  • A relationship builder who can spot and develop new opportunities and client relationships both within the KPMG network and externally;
  • Able to interact with an array of senior stakeholders across the different member firms within the KPMG network;
  • A good technical lawyer with a solid proven track record of driving innovation through client‑facing solutions, optimising the use of legal tech stacks and developing automated processes;
  • Experience of presenting/pitching technology solutions to clients (existing and prospective).
