Job description

Our client is a large national practice, with offices across the country, including in the City, where this role is based.

The recruiting partners are now looking for an additional real estate solicitor to join their dynamic team, currently 9-strong.The successful candidate will handle a caseload of quality real estate and real estate finance work.

The well-established client base includes banks, financial institutions, property development and investment companies.

This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week, should that be of interest. The remaining 3 days will be office based in the firm's City office.

The role:

  • Managing a broad and varied range of real estate finance and real estate transactions including liaising with other team members and co-ordinating advice from other practice areas and departments
  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of transaction documents including security documents, corporate authorisations, commercial leases, agreements for lease and other occupational documentation
  • Carrying out due diligence, such as reviewing and reporting on title, planning and searches and the preparation of draft certificates and overview reports.
  • Well-established client base includes banks, financial institutions, property development and investment companies

Person specification:

  • UK qualified solicitor, probably with 2-5yrs PQE gained ifthe real estate team or a recognised commercial firm
  • Significant experience in real estate finance and general real estate
  • Experience of working with borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants is essential
  • An interest in business development and liaising with clients directly
