Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates seeks a senior real estate solicitor for its Edinburgh or Glasgow office to lead high-value investment, development and asset management transactions across offices, logistics, retail, leisure, build-to-rent and student accommodation.

You will advise a diverse client base, including investors, funds and private clients, coordinating with planning, construction, tax, banking and corporate teams to deliver commercially focused solutions while mentoring junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' PQE in Scottish real estate.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.

Job description

We are currently working with a leading UK firm on a senior property opportunity based in either its Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-value investment, development and asset management transactions across a range of sectors, including offices, logistics, retail, leisure, build-to-rent and student accommodation.

The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base, including investors, funds and private clients, managing transactions across the property life-cycle. You will also work closely with specialists across planning, construction, tax, banking and corporate law to deliver commercially focused advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the acquisition, disposal and management of Scottish real estate assets.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, leases and asset management documentation.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice tailored to client objectives.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across practice areas.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ PQE, strong Scottish real estate experience and a commercial, client-focused approach. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are also important.
