Job summary

GIC is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join their Real Estate team in London. The position focuses on credit and hybrid investments across the capital structure, analysing new deals, conducting financial modelling, and preparing Investment Committee papers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance or a STEM subject and relevant experience in real-estate debt financing or corporate banking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.

Qualifications

  • A good university degree preferably in finance, accounting or banking or a STEM subject.
  • Relevant experience in real-estate debt financing, debt capital markets, structured finance or corporate banking.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and meticulous with details and accurate with numbers.
  • Good understanding of financial structures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analysing, structuring, recommending and closing new deals.
  • Assume primary role in financial modelling of transactions.
  • Assist with preparation of Investment Committee papers.
  • Work with third-party managers in evaluation of eligible transactions.
  • Provide assistance in asset management and performance monitoring.
