Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions are recruiting a Real Estate Associate for a Leeds-based practice. You will join a high-performing transactional real estate team, handling investment, development and landlord/tenant work with strong training and early responsibility.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of quality work, with a clear progression path and mentoring from senior lawyers. 1+ year PQE in commercial real estate is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the sale and purchase of investment property and portfolio transactions.
• Advise on investment and property management matters.

• Draft clear, legally effective documents and manage matters efficiently.

Real Estate Associate

Location: Leeds

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 plus bonus

Experience: 1+ years’ PQE

If you’re a commercial property lawyer looking to build your career in a high‑performing transactional real estate team, this is a great opportunity to join a growing Leeds practice and gain exposure to a broad spread of quality work.

You’ll support on a mix of investment and development matters, landlord and tenant work, and property management, with strong training, early responsibility and clear scope to develop into a well‑rounded real estate lawyer.

The Opportunity

About You

Essential

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
• At least 1+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property and landlord and tenant law
• Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions
• Good drafting skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Enthusiastic about learning, development and taking on responsibility

• Experience supporting investment acquisitions and disposals
• Experience with portfolio transactions
• Experience with property management work
• Experience supporting developers and occupiers
