Randstad Education in Bristol is seeking a General Cover Teacher (QTS) to provide flexible teaching across subjects for KS3-4 in local secondary schools. This role offers control over your day-to-day schedule and the chance to work with a variety of settings.

General Cover Teacher to support vibrant secondary schools throughout the Bristol area. Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in Secondary Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and robust safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Leave detailed handovers and notes for returning subject teachers to ensure continuity.

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply).

• Strong classroom management skills with an adaptable, positive, and professional approach.
• High reliability and punctual attendance for an 8:30 AM start.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).
• Documented right to work in the UK.
