Job summary

Bupa, a leading health insurer and provider, seeks a part-time Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant/ MSK Physician for clinics across central London, including Wimbledon. You will deliver high-quality SEM/MSK consultations and procedures within an experienced MDT, with self-employed fee-split arrangements.

Ideal candidates hold GMC registration, CCT in SEM, and a postgraduate diploma or MSc in MSK/SEM, with strong communication and private-patient experience.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and license to practice.
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine.
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medicine or SEM from a recognised awarding body.
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care.
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT.
• Ideally experience treating private patients and sports injuries.

Responsibilities

• GMC registration & license to practice - listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT
• Ideally experience treating private patients
• Experience with sports injuries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, organisation and time management
• Interest in continuing development - professional and business
