Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm (25 hours per week)

Brook Street is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly warehouse team based in Paddock Wood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career move, with the potential to progress into a permanent full-time position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Safely handling and moving heavy engineered stone products
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
• Undertaking local and nationwide deliveries when required
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently

About You:

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties and manual handling
• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
• Confident driving a long-wheelbase vehicle
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
• Able to work effectively as part of a small team
• Forklift experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate
